Bedrooms

Room 1 - Chambre principale :
Room, 1st floor, view of the garden, view of the sea. The bedroom has 2 Beds including 1 double bed 180 cm, 1 baby bed. Bathroom private, with bathtub, shower. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, private terrace.

Room 2 - Suite Junior :
Suite, 1st floor. The bedroom has 3 Beds including 1 trundle beds, 2 single beds. Bathroom private. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, sofa, living area, TV.

Room 3
Room, Ground level, direct access to the garden, direct access to the terrace. This bedroom has 1 double bed 180 cm. Bathroom private. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 4
Room, Ground level, direct access to the pool. The bedroom has 2 Beds including 1 double bed 180 cm, 1 sofa bed. Bathroom private, with bathtub, shower. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, safe.

Room 5 - Pavillon Independent :
Room. This bedroom has 1 double bed 180 cm. Bathroom private. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.


Indoors

The villa enjoy a living space of 320 sqm and features a spacious living room equipped with a  flat screen TV and free access to Canal-SAT satelite channels. Its dining room with table can gather 8 people. The kitchen and the scullery is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and 1 refrigerator, a coffee maker, filters for drinking water, a complete set of household appliances, cutlery and crockery for 18 people. It has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms. On the first floor, the villa offers 2 bedrooms : one bedroom has a pull-out bed and 2 single beds and the living room including a convertible sofa.  The ground floor is composed of 2 bedrooms.
There is an annex apartment, a lovely independent flat decorated in pastel tones, nestled deep within the charming garden. This annex has a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and separate toilet. 


Outdoors

The property of a total area of 2400 sqm is fully fenced. The swimming pool of 3,5 m x 7 m is fully secured and sits in the middle of a large garden. An outdoor shower for the pool is at disposal. There is a covered veranda for relaxation. Sunloungers place on the side of the pool allow you to rest. A superb garden table with 4 solid teak benches, sheltered by a kiosk, can gather 12 people. The villa is equipped with an automated safety shutters and fold-away safety grilles. There is also 2 solar water heaters, 2 generators, an alarm system alerting a local security company and a private parking for several cars.


Staff and services

The housekeeper, works from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm from monday to friday and from 9.00 am to noon on saturday. No service on Sundays and public holidays.
The service comprises cleaning, washing and the preparation of one meal a day (food excluded). For big groups (as from 6 persons), she will be seconded by another maid Bibi.

The helpful and competent steward, Nauchad, is at your service every day of the week. He takes care of the swimming pool, the garden and the property’s maintenance. He will be happy to run small errands for you, such as picking up fresh bread, newspapers and vegetables on his bicycle. Nauchad lives a few hundred meters away from the villa and can be easily reached in case of an emergency.  

The cook prepares one meal a day, lunch or dinner, in advance. Tenants are responsible for purchasing provisions. The cook is on-site from 9 am to 2 pm and is bilingual (English and French).



The discreetly helpful laundry lady, Daisy, helps Stephanie around the house and deals with laundry and ironing. She works the same hours as the housekeeper and speaks French.


Location

Only a few minutes away from the villa, you can fish, swim and discover the lagoon’s rich fauna and flora with a mask and snorkel. The supermarket is a 10-minute drive away.

As you leave the airport, you will find yourself driving through a beautiful landscape of verdant cane fields intersected by streams and rivers and dotted with small villages. The road follows a winding path inland then turns to hug the rugged coastline near the cliffs of Gris-Gris. It then passes through the historical village of Souillac, with its charming old church, cemetery and small fishing port. After the bridge over the Savanne river, the road suddenly emerges onto the dazzling turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef. It laps at a coast caressed by the trade winds and in which only a few houses are nestled in the tropical vegetation. Right at the entrance of the small village of Riambel, next to the stone post on which its name is engraved, a private driveway leads to a gate which in turn opens onto the property.

Tourist attractions in the vicinity of Villa include: the dramatic cliffs at Gris-Gris, "La Nef" (The Nave), a museum exploring the work of Robert Edward Hart, The Telfair gardens, Rochester Falls, La Vanille Réserve des Mascareignes natural park, Domaine St Aubin, in which you can discover part of the history of the country and the traditional process of rum manufacturing, Horse-riding on the beach, a variety of nautical activities and scuba diving as well as quad-biking in the surrounding mountains, both offered by the region’s hotels, The Bel Ombre golf course, The C-Beach Club.

The C-Beach Club is near the Domaine de Bel Ombre, 12 km from Villa Riambelle along the stunning coastal road. Located on the seafront, close to the Heritage Le Telfair and Awali Hotels, the C-Beach Club is the newest and trendiest lifestyle destination in Mauritius. The beach club is unique on the island. It combines a Mediterranean concept with tropical accents for a chic and upmarket ambiance.
