Indoors 

The house’s style is characterised by clean, contemporary lines, generous spaces and a fluid flow between rooms, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and soothing. Each main room opens out onto the outdoors, enhancing the sense of space that is so much appreciated in the island’s tropical climate.
From the moment you enter, the villa exudes an open, light and welcoming atmosphere. The modern, fully equipped kitchen opens naturally onto the dining room and then onto the living room, creating a seamless flow between the spaces and encouraging socialising, whilst offering a soothing view of the garden and the swimming pool. A utility room is fitted with a dishwasher, a washing machine and an iron.
A dedicated workspace, fast Wi-Fi and satellite TV complete this interior, designed to combine relaxation with practicality.


Outdoors 

The outdoor area is at the heart of the experience this house offers. A beautiful wooden deck surrounds the swimming pool (6.3 x 3.6 m – depth: 1.1 to 1.5 m) and extends the terrace, where an outdoor dining table and chairs invite you to enjoy meals al fresco. A barbecue is also available, perfect for relaxed evenings in a tropical atmosphere.
The 700 m² garden features dense, carefully maintained vegetation that enhances the sense of privacy whilst adding a soothing, exotic touch. All these spaces have been designed to provide a natural flow between indoors and outdoors, in keeping with the ‘inside-outside’ ethos characteristic of holidays in the tropics.
A private parking space completes the facilities.


Staff & Services

A housekeeper comes from Monday to Saturday, for two to three hours a day, except on Sundays and public holidays, to look after the house.
For an additional charge, she can also prepare local dishes. Meal preparation and ironing are not included in the cleaner’s standard duties.


Location

The villa enjoys a prime location at the entrance to the Black River Gorges National Park, Mauritius’s largest protected forest reserve, renowned for its rare wildlife and hiking trails. Situated in a quiet, unspoilt neighbourhood surrounded by nature, the villa is just a few minutes’ walk from the park entrance.
La Preneuse beach is five minutes away, Tamarin Bay – famous for its waves, which are popular with surfers – is about ten minutes away, and Le Morne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is about twenty minutes away. Despite this peaceful setting, supermarkets, restaurants and beaches remain easily accessible, although a car is recommended for complete freedom of movement.
