A paradise for nature lovers
Domaine de l'Etoile opened its doors in 2002 and is now the largest private estate in Mauritius and is definitely the most attractive! This natural park is a true paradise of nature. It is possible to admire many different panoramas offering breathtaking views. From lush valleys to river successions, through stretches of native forests and the Moka mountain range. Amazing contrasts not to be missed! From the heights, you will be able to have an overview of the Mauritian coast and its wildlands. A real show for the eyes!
However, the site is not only appreciated for the tranquillity and bewitching beauty of the area but also for its exceptional creatures living in total freedom in the area. If you are lucky and have a sharp eye, you will be able to observe the Java deer or monkeys in their daily lives. Many endemic birds have also taken up residence in the area, such as pigeons, straw, kestrels and the Mauritian cardinal. These different species live in harmony on the park's 1,200 hectares, composed of more than 80 different species of trees and plants. It is an opportunity to closely observe the ancestral ebony trees, vanilla and coffee that flourish at Domaine de l'Etoile. A unique excursion that is one of the most fascinating in Mauritius.

The choice is yours! Domaines de l'Etoile offers quad biking trips to enjoy thrills while discovering the park's green valleys. Mini-quads are also available to enjoy with the family. Another key activity that excites children is horseback riding. Whatever your level, you will be able to visit the site in an eco-responsible and fun way. Buggy rides are also available by the hour or by the day to venture out off the beaten track, as well as bike rides or archery courses over nearly 10 hectares. The most adventurous will certainly be tempted by the giant zip line and its 3.5 km course, which is the largest in the world.

The entrance gives access to the Jardin de l'Etoile, the Children's Village, the mini-farm and the free hike. The given rate is deductible from the activities.
